FASTRAK Informational Seminar For Mid Ohio Valley Area
Set For Saturday, February 20th
FASTRAK Northeast will conduct an informational seminar on the FASTRAK Late Model Racing Series at the Comfort Suites in Mineral Wells, West Virginia on Saturday, February 20 at 1 PM.
The seminar will be conducted by Northeast Co-Directors Vicki Emig and Mike Leone as well as Northeast Tech Inspector Brad Hibbard.
Plans for the new Mid-Ohio Valley Touring Series will be discussed as FASTRAK continues to grow in West Virginia with Tyler County Speedway, Elkins Speedway, Princeton Speedway, Beckley Motorsports Park, and West Virginia Motor Speedway all running the FASTRAK Late Models in 2010.

West Virginia Motor Speedway Added to 2010 UFo Tour!
(Mars, PA) - The West Virginia Motor Speedway will become a new addition to the UFo tour, with some familiar faces at the wheel. While West Virginia Motor Speedway will be a brand-new track on the UFo Race Championship tour, the management team has been a participant in UFo since its inception. BDS Racing Promotions which consisted of Brian Ferrell, Daniel Patterson and Scott Strode has evolved into Mountain State Motorsports with the addition of Lynn Chapman, Tom Wellman and Dave Saulsgiver. BDS formerly promoted the Tyler County Speedway and hosted 2 UFo events at that facility over the past 2 years. Mountain State Motorsports/BDS will re-open WVMS for a season of major events including the Hillbilly 100 in September and the Dirt Track World Championship in October.
The "Road to the Crown Jewels" will mark the debut of the UFo Race Championship at WVMS on Sunday Night, August 1. This event will be run under the thrilling UFo twin features format. A total of $5,000 to win will be paid for the twin 22 lap features with each winner receiving $2,500. In addition the excellent prize payoff, a huge bonus will be awarded to the feature winners as the twin races will serve as qualifiers for the WVMS crown jewel events. The winner of the 1st feature will be a guaranteed starter in the $42,000 to win Hillbilly 100, and the winner of the 2nd feature will be a guaranteed starter in the $50,000 to win Dirt Track World Championship. This event will offer Super Late Model teams the opportunity to tune up for these two massive events.

The UFo Race Championship is an event marketing alliance among 10 supertracks in the Pennova region (Western PA-Northern WV-Northeastern OH). Participating speedways presents their own championship Super Late Model events under the UFo banner throughout the season using common tech and procedure rules with a year-end, group funded, point bonus for the top finishing drivers on the tour. In an effort to run an efficient timely program at the 5/8 mile speedplant, one-way Raceceivers will be mandatory for all division competing at West Virginia Motor Speedway in 2010. The RACEceiver radio is a one way communicator that has the potential to prevent on track accidents based on the Race Director being able to signal all drivers of a potentially dangerous situation and speed the race night program up with efficient line up procedures.

West Virginia Motor Speedway Rolls Out WVMS Kids Club!
(Mineral Wells, WV) - West Virginia Motor Speedway is excited to announce the forming of the WVMS Kids Club for those 12 and under visiting the speedway. The WVMS Kids Club will bring a new level of excitement for the youth attending the races at West Virginia’s Premier Entertainment Facility. As West Virginia Motor Speedway prepares to swing the gates back open for the speedplant’s 25th Anniversary what better way than to look to the future by focusing on the youth of our sport.
Activities are planned on almost every night that the West Virginia Motor Speedway is open. Be sure to sign up for all the fun and follow the West Virginia Motor Speedway schedule and the WVMS Kids Club activities on the WVMS website located at www.wvspeedway.com.
Just look for the WVMS Kids Club tent located near the main concession stand. Children will need to check in with the registry to learn about the details of the evenings event and to get your WVMS Kids Club Concession Coupon! Make sure mom, dad or guardian are present, because their adult supervision is required for participation!
At the end of the year, a big drawing for t-shirts, autographed pictures, bicycles, tricycles, and more are on tap!! In order for eligibility, Kids Club members have to sign in at the WVMS Kids Club Tent at EVERY event that is attended! Because for every event attended, the child’s name will go into the drawing that many times!! For instance, come to one event, your name is entered once, you come to 10 events, and your name is entered 10 times!!! So as you can see, the more you come, the better your chances!!
